Трендвотчинг не прошел даром, так что вскоре к ней в редакции присоединилась еще одна лабубу — у нашего аккаунта Ксюши: Пару месяцев назад Саша рассказала о забавных существах, которые все чаще появляются на сумках селеб. Я знала игрушки pop mart, но раньше ничего меня не трогало, а тут я просто влюбилась. Заказывать боялась (не хотелось получить обидную подделку), но тут подруга полетела в Гуанчжоу. История Labubu (или лабубу в уже привычном нам варианте) началась в 2015 году. На свет эти персонажи появились 10 лет назад, придумал их дизайнер из Гонконга Касинг Лунг для книги TheMonsters. Племен эльфов в его книге было много — Тайкоко, Зиммомо, Спуки, Пато и те самые Лабубу.

Лабубу выходят в коллекционном формате сюрприз-боксов, то есть традиционный элемент игры и неожиданности.
